Gabapentin Sexual Side Effects – A new study reveals that Gabapentin may lead to an absence of having orgasm in men.



Gabapentin is a drug commonly used to treat neuropathic pain, seizures and bipolar diseases in elderly patients. Gabapentin has been the preferred medication due to its benign side effects typically limited to somnolence and dizziness that resolve with time.



Gabapentin sexual intercourse effects were studied and the study showed that 3 out of 11 patients over the age of 50 experienced anorgasmia after taking the medicine.



Regarding the sexual side effects by gabapentin, researchers pointed out that the patients should be reassured that the side effect is reversible and is likely dose dependent.
